Create Workshop: Sewing & Design with Nancy Sinoway Ages 9–12 • 12-Week Creative Series Step into the world of fashion, sewing, and design with visiting instructor Nancy Sinoway, founder of Nancy Sinoway Design Studio. With a career in fashion dating back to 1975, Nancy brings decades of experience, creativity, and a love for beautiful design to this special 12-week workshop. Throughout the series, young designers will explore the creative process behind sewing and fashion—from choosing fabrics, colors, and textures to learning foundational sewing and design techniques. Children will be encouraged to experiment with their own ideas, develop their personal style, and experience the excitement of turning a creative vision into something they can proudly call their own. More than just learning how to sew, this workshop is about creativity, confidence, problem-solving, patience, and self-expression. With Nancy’s guidance, each child will have the opportunity to slow down, work with their hands, learn new skills, and discover the joy of designing and making. No previous sewing experience is necessary—just curiosity and a desire to create. 12 weeks of imagining, designing, sewing, and bringing ideas to life.
