Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The HeArt Studio NY LLC! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in our classes, workshops, events, camps, and other activities offered by The HeArt Studio NY, located at 938 Port Washington Blvd Unit 3, Port Washington, NY 11050.

By registering for or participating in any of our offerings, you agree to the following terms:

1. Participation & Conduct

All participants must follow the instructions and safety guidelines provided by staff and instructors.
Children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless otherwise specified.
The HeArt Studio NY reserves the right to refuse or remove participation to anyone who behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate manner, without refund.

2. Health & Safety

If a participant is sick or experiencing symptoms of illness, we ask that they stay home for the safety of others.
Allergies must be disclosed in advance. While we aim to provide a safe environment, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free space.
Art materials used may include non-toxic paint, glue, clay, and other crafting items. Please let us know of any sensitivities.

3. Liability Waiver

Participation in art and craft activities involves the use of tools, materials, and equipment that may pose risk. By attending, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
The HeArt Studio NY and its staff are not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or personal property damage or loss that may occur during classes or events.

4. Payment & Cancellations

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise arranged.
Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on rescheduling or canceling a session.

5. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

For drop-off programs (e.g. camps, workshops, Kids Night In), children must be signed in and out by an authorized adult.
Late pick-ups may incur a fee of $1 per minute after the designated end time.

6. Photography & Media Consent

Photos or videos may be taken during events and classes for promotional purposes.
By participating, you grant The HeArt Studio NY permission to use images of you or your child for marketing, social media, and website use.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in writing prior to the event.

7. Property & Materials

All artwork created during sessions may be taken home unless otherwise noted (e.g., group projects or drying requirements).
Participants are responsible for treating studio materials and equipment with care. Excessive damage due to misuse may result in a replacement fee.

8. Weather & Emergencies

In the event of studio closure due to inclement weather or emergencies, we will offer a makeup class, credit, or refund.
Any changes will be communicated via email or text using the contact information provided during registration.

9. Agreement

By registering for or attending any session at The HeArt Studio NY, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
